Werner Schroeder

Werner Schroeder

Professor Schroeder is the head of the Department of European Law and Public International Law at the University of Innsbruck since 2005. His research focuses on the legal and policy challenges in the evolving International and European legal orders and on fundamental human rights issues. He has worked closely with internationally recognised experts and has been involved in a number of European, national and international research projects. He earned his LL.M degree from University of California/Berkeley, School of Law. He did his habilitation at the University of Passau in 1999. He authored key volumes in European law and has written more than 100 articles discussing various issues related to public international and European law.
